Do you take walk-in?

All walk-ins are always welcome, however, in light of COVID-19, we encourage all clients to book in advance. That way, we can better accommodate your beauty treatment needs while still stay in line with social distancing rules and guidelines.

How do you clean and disinfect your tools and equipment?

Stylin' Nails follows the Region of Waterloo Public Health protocol for cleaning and disinfecting all tools and equipment used between clients. For details or to learn more, please click here.


What changes have you made in response to COVID-19 ?

As you know that COVID-19 has affected everyone and we ask that we are all be patient and considerate of each other during this difficult time. As per public health guidelines, everyone are required to wear a face covering in the salon. If you need a face mask, Stylin' Nails will be happy to offer one free of charge.

If you have been diagnosed with or have symptoms of COVID-19 or recently returned from travel within the last 14 days, we ask that you do not attend your appointment and seek advise from public health.

You will notice that a number of safety measures have been put in place for your protection such as sneeze guards; limiting number of people in the salon at one time, hand sanitizers are available throughout the salon; hard surface disinfecting between clients and so on.


Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment once booked?

We understand that life happens, so if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you reach out to us by calling (519) 570-3999 or via our online booking website at least 4 hours in advance.


Can I bring pet to your salon?

You can bring one small well-behaved dog (under 5 Kg) with you. However, for the convenience of other clients present, we kindly ask that you keep your dog in a dog bag at all time while inside the salon, with the exception of a service dog, which is always welcome.

What is Dip-Powder manicure?

Dip-powder manicure is a newer nail enhancement technique that use an acrylic-based pigmented powder, but without the smell of acrylics. The enhancement effect can last longer than gel polish. And, unlike gel, the powder does not really peel off. Stylin' Nails is pleased to offer this new treatment to our clients as other world-class salons around the world have started to do the same over the past two years. EYELASH SERVICES

Can lash extension ruin my natural lashes?

There is no scientific evidence to show that lash extensions affect the health of your natural lashes long-term. However, there is a small risk that your natural lashes may become weak and fall out prematurely, if the lash extensions were not properly applied and cared for. It may take many years of poor application and improper care for this risk to happen. Therefore, it is important to look for a professional and reputable salon to treat your lashes.


How long will my lash extension appointment take?

A new set of lash extensions can take anywhere from 1.5 - 2.5 hours to apply depending on the lash extension set and style chosen. To learn more about what to expect during your lash extension appointment, please click here.


Do I have to prepare myself for my lash extension appointment?

What are the active ingredients present in your lash adhesive?

We use medical grade, cyanoacrylate-based adhesives that do not contain formaldehyde, which is a known irritant that can cause irritation, and itchy, swollen eyelids.


What do you do to protect your client's health and safety during lash extension / lift appointment?

For each lash appointment, the artist washes and sanitizes her hands, wears a face mask at all times, uses sanitary pillow covers, uses tweezers, that have been disinfected with intermediate level disinfectant as per the Region of Waterloo Public Health guidelines, and uses only disposable eyelash brushes.


I am interested in getting a new set lash extensions. What choice do I have?

PEDICURES

What are the different pedicure packages that you offer?

We offer 3 levels of foot treatment or pedicure packages. Each is designed to offer specific foot care needs and spa experiences. To learn more about treatment details, please click here.


Do you offer aromatherapy clay foot mask and/or paraffin wax treatment?

Our Deluxe Spa Pedicure offers aromatherapy clay foot mask in addition to what our Classic Pedicure offers. The ultimate Signature Stylin' Pedicure offers everything you feet wants including paraffin wax treatment. For treatment details, click here.


How often should I get a pedicure?

Depending on your nail growth cycle and needs, but in general, it is recommended to have pedicure done once a month to maintain your foot health. This may also help prevent the growth of fungus and bacteria.


Is pedicure necessary during the winter months?

A pedicure isn't just for beauty but it is for maintaining the overall health of your feet. It may helps prevent certain foot conditions such as ingrown toes, bacterial and/or fungal infection. So getting a pedicure regularly is important regardless of the weather.


Should I wax my legs before having a pedicure?

Waxing makes your pores open and may allow bacteria and/or fungus to enter your body during a pedicure treatment. Therefore, we recommend that you allow 3 days after waxing your legs to have a pedicure. Or you can have your pedicure done before waxing your legs.
